Paddle into the Past
Join us for a unique historical tour of Shrewsbury around the Severn loop, exploring the Welsh wars, Vikings, floods, Victorian health-hazards and the relics of the river trade with archaeologist Dr Nigel Baker.
We use open canoes, these are paddled by a crew of two people.
Canoes can be rafted, two side by side to make them even more stable and easier to control and paddled by a crew of 4-6 people.

The tours are accompanied by our professional staff, all equipment provided, no previous experience is necessary.
Tours start 6.15pm from Frankwell, County Ground and finish
Shrewsbury weir around 8.45pm.
