My paddling journey began in childhood with my family and local canoe club. Over
the years I have paddled all sorts of craft in many different environments. Immersed
in paddlesport coaching for over 30 years, working with a huge range of paddlers on
their own personal journeys. I am a BCU Level 5 coach, British Canoeing Technical
Group member, and British Canoeing Awarding Body Provider.
I have always been interested in learning and coaching and in recent years gaining
BSc Hons in Sport Science and MSc in Sport Coaching. Currently, I am a PhD
researcher of sport coaching at University of Derby.
