Evening Canoe Hire

Canoes are available for hire for 2 hours on the River Severn from Frankwell canoe ramp in Shrewsbury.

From there you can discover the river upstream into the countryside looking out for wildlife including sand martins and kingfishers. Take a snack and pullover onto a beach for a relaxing break. Paddle back with the flow returning from where you started your trip.

We have a variety of boats to choose from and our
friendly and approachable staff will be on hand to advise you and to make sure you
have the kit you need.

Open Canoes are paddled using a single blade.  Our canoes are fitted out for 2 people but
with the option to add an additional centre seat which is very useful for families with
young children. Two canoes can be rafted together for even more security with young children
